Attributes

An attribute is a fact about a person, such as city, plan or birthday. System attributes exist already; custom attributes are created as data arrives. Attributes can be nested arrays.

Events

An event is something a person did, with a name, a time and properties. signup_completed and purchase_completed are events. Events trigger journeys and feed funnels.

Transactions

A transaction is an order or a payment, in the currency you set for the workspace. Lifetime value and order count are built from transactions and are not tied to e-commerce.

Frequently asked questions
